track Y Blackmoor has samples taken from, a track on the hip hop electro series, ELECTRO 11-B SIDE, called (STETSASONIC - JUST SAY STET.)
comes to mind straight away as you dont forget a tune, and especially as i grew up listening to all the hip hop stuff, on various vinyl and tapes.. got all the electro's up my loft.

I notice at 3.28 its a sample from a tune from the ELECTRO HIP HOP SERIES FROM THE 80'S, Bugged me now, I will have to get the name of the track its from. HA HA FOUND IT, it was from Street Sounds Hip Hop Electro 11 - Artists - Stetsonic* Just Say Stet. I new I new it, you never forget a sound, especially that you grew up with listening to so many times.

Blackmore is named after a place DJ Trax and his mates used to go to after raves.

I wish I owned a real copy of this, because this is honestly one of the finest hardcore records of all time - Dave Trax has a real way of making records that are packed with synths and melodies without sounding cheesy, and his production skill and drum programming is impecable. I'm no oldskool raver, I'd just been born when this shit was going out but this is a truly timeless record.

an all time hardcore classic (high time). deftly sequenced drums and a dub bassline provide a nice backing tempo but the real dope in this record is the synths. absolutely e-induced, spine-tingling uplifting chords in the chorus make this unbelievably beautiful. sampled horns build the conflict and then all releases into bliss at the chorus. if trax had never done a track before or again i'd still think he was a f*&^ing genius.

One of my favourite Moving Shadow releases, such an exciting sound at the time for me. I remember going nuts when i heard the drum programming on both tracks when i got it on the TT back in late 1993. The same could of been said for the neighbours at the time aswell!
