Yep, totally agree with Laughing-gor below, this is an awesome record, both Lightspeed and Voltage control live up to their names, pounding hard as nails techno!!! for me Voltage Control is the winner mainly cause of menacing electric synths used!!!

A criminally underrated 12", with excellent tracks all round, even if "Acid Drops" is just pointless filler - but at less than a minute long, who's complaining? It's pleasant enough, but the 12" would not lose anything if it were not included.

Worth the price just for the slowly-building, dark techno of "Lightspeed", which I remember was still getting a great response at squat parties 6-7 years after its release! All of Side 2 is dark, fast, pounding, hard non-acidic squat party techno - what's not to like?

I can't think of any SUF release which I would consider a waste of vinyl, but there are quite a few tunes which deserve less attention than this one. Perhaps it's because there simply isn't enough "acid" on this one? Surely even true lovers of 303 excess need the occasional break sometimes?
