DOS has an affinity for early era MIDI Synthesizers and Drum Machines. Despite the tremendous advances in computer music technology he still prefers to compose songs on an early 90’s Atari ST computer for it’s simplicity and effectiveness.
As an avid collector and DJ of mid 80’s RnB Vinyl, DOS has drawn inspiration from some of the great keyboardist composers and synth musicians of the past such as Bernie Worrell, George Duke, and David Frank.
His recent music endeavors represents and investigation back in time. Looking back to the early days of electronic music to possibly uncover as of yet unexplored possibilities within the domain of vintage computer / synthesizer music.
