Big in the more underground UK clubs in the mid 1980s and the then pirate radio stations of the day. And a bit later at the earlier warehouse and balearic parties of 1988.

This one including other productions of this outfit were always quite difficult to categorise. Jazz-Funk / Electro-Funk / Freestyle / Early House / Electro Hip Hop?? What The Ffff?? Typical UK 1980s urban street music of that bygone and forgotten era. And this era really is forgotten unless you were there and experienced it really. Hardly imagine a revival anytime soon.

Similar to what Hardrock Soul Movement were making around the same time. With slightly more soul. The beats definitely have influences of Strafe's / Harlequin Fours Set It Off or even Maze's Twilight, maybe?
