Many crackles on the second record, especially on C side. Very annoying and far from audiophile grade.

Mine has lots of crackles especially on the second record, that one is unplayable to me. Cleaned it with many different methods, spin clean and vacuum nothing made a difference. Sound quality isn’t the best either too much bass almost muddy sounding.

That's the right way I feel an album should be done."LP, 180g, gatefold, downloadcode, printed inner sleeves and a little love, like the booklet (don't know the size (CD or LP size).. Not only use a 'hip'color and 180gram but still sounds crappy. No, a real good pressing like this one.Not too expensive and both parties are happy!!!

I ordered one of these and it didn't come with a digital download, not a massive deal, but otherwise, it's the same version as listed here. The hype sticker didn't have "Includes Digital Download" on it either.

I have played this record for about 10 times completely now. It still sounds amazing, almost no background noise, high dynamics, 100% flat and a well finished edge (no sharpness, flat run-in blank part).
It was a bit greasy from the pressing plant so it had some minor pops and ticks, but those are gone since I cleaned it with an ultrasonic bath. Absolutely the best modern release I've ever heard in terms of mastering and pressing (nothing can beat the old-fashioned analogue recordings IMO).

The only 'bad' side is a little bit too much mid-bass (near 300Hz), but just a little bit; normal for synthetic music. It does not bother me and it probably was the intention of the musician to make it sound like that.

It seems someone has to buy two copies the Re issue and the Original Compare and Give info :)

I picked up a copy of the Alex Gopher cut and I am more than happy with the sound.
No pops, just a bit of crackle here and there, which a good clean should get rid of.

I'm usually not a fan of electronic music but this album is really a masterpiece. I've heard only great things about the vinyl release (and the mastering as well) so I've decided to get a copy. Sadly, I just realized at home that I bought the EU repress, not the original release from 2013.

Now, here's the good and the bad. Mastering is (more than) OK, a bit bass heavy (just as the original vinyl mastering) for my taste but great dynamics overall, definitely quieter than the CD release. Others say it's very close to the original. Pressing is however just disappointing. Don't know where was it pressed (the original was pressed at Optimal) but on each side I've found pops and crackles. After a wash most of them are gone, but still hearing imperfections. I've paid ~25 EUR for this record and I think this is unacceptable. Still thinking about sending it back and buying the original on Discogs.

Bottom line: if your copy is perfect, then I guess you should keep it, as it's pretty close to the original. If you're just thinking about getting one, maybe you should try to buy the original (mastered by Chab).

Got a copy yesterday, and it has a lot of pops on it. It was slightly better after a good clean but the first track on side B (Within) has pops in the first 5-10 seconds that are very annoying. I asked for a return (amazon.de), and they refunded me directly and don't want the record back, so I'd guess that they are having a lot of quality issues with this one.
