Whilst the '93 mix is on a rather epic tip which perhaps makes it less ethereal and sinister when compared with the original and 91 mix, we are given some quality hard, pounding tribal kickdrums, as well as a very hypnotic bassline. Madness!

This is arguably one of the best "trance" numbers ever recorded. That's arguable because one person's trash is another person's treasure. But this track inspired me in a definitive moment to run to my Oberheim synthesizer set-up and bust out my first-ever techno-inspired song. It was not as good as this track but it did inspire one person to run about my house in a moment of strangeness like a five-year-old child so there must be some kind of weird energy in this track. It's not a ground-breaker but it does have a certain ethereal quality that never has been duplicated in anything else I've heard. It's slow and relaxed, not really a thumper but it reeks of quality. There is a magic that I still feel when I hear it. Great early techno that predates the "trance" genre considerably. I guess in other countries they were already defining genres when I just called it all techno. Not being a huge fan of what became known as "trance" later, this ranks up there with the best, most inspired techno of the early generation. Check it out and free your mind - you can sail through space with this one! And when you land, tell 'em "We Came In Peace"...for all mankind!
