I think I have this one. But mine has "capuchin crypt" etched on the run out grooves.

Rome could easily be the soundtrack of an epic 50's Western with sprawling prairies and arid deserts providing a fitting backdrop for the musical drama that is to unfold. Jack White (of the White Stripes) and Norah Jones are the main characters in this tale of love, lust, deceit and pain. A must have if you like big, orchestral productions featuring strings, organs, guitars, and all other manner of layered sound. That's not to say that the album doesn't have it's delicate points (glockenspiel & piano duets), but Danger Mouse really outdoes himself in his arrangement and harmonization of such an eclectic set of instruments.
Alternately, it is pretty much the soundtrack for the recent Tarantino film "Django Unchained". I couldn't help but wondering whether or not Tarantino had actually used some of these exact songs in his movie. Would've been a great choice if he had, because Rome paints the perfect picture for the slave-turned-cowboy out to rescue his girl, riding the horses and shooting the bad guys! Pow Pow! Yee-haaaw!

This is a truly excellent offering from Danger Mouse and Daniele Luppi. Their homage to Italian cinema's sonic perspective of the American West features vocal treatments by Jack White and Norah Jones. This limited Third Man Records release is pressed on a striking orange marbled vinyl and is accompanied by the instrumental version of the album on a second white disc. The sleeves are glossy of accenting color, and in typical White style every part of the package fits the color theme of this album.
