I would have to agree with the comment above ^. It's a nice minimalist production style but Danny Breaks has really created an excellent album. Easily the best artist drum and bass album I have. I would go so far as to say that the track "Lost Souls" is the best song on the album, and is almost worth purchasing the album solely for that song. Breaks has put together an excellent album, all the tracks have cohesion and it is not some disjointed singles-fest, but rather a thoughtful entrance into his personal style.

Danny Breaks' "Vibrations" is one of the coolest albums in my vast collection. Sick downtempo production and stunningly complex syncopation flutter around drum n bass beats to amazing effect. Probably the best chill drum n bass album of the last few years, and the best example of a drum n bass / downtempo crossover that I can think of . . . to quote Cheech Marin, "This is some good shit." 5/5
