I never liked this track either and it sounds like a weak rip of Flash by Green Velvet. Skip >|

This certainly is not Euro-dance and I do not recall this type of track being referred to as Progressive House either.

Only a drugged circuit burnout could like this song, or create it.

Come on mates, how can you label this as outdated? This was not even in fashion when it came out (unlike the then popular Euro-Dance and unlike the now popular Hipster-Nu-Disco and pseudo retro stuff which is often as dull as ditchwater). This is just music straight for the timeless underground. It still works today, I have tested it.
Of course you have to understand the elements of Progressive House (lol).

gonna have to agree with Oochy, boring, tepid, dry, and generic NYC tribal tech-house of the day. Does not hold up to scrutiny in 2012, you're off your rocker to claim otherwise (or just nostalgic for days gone by!)

The Chant is in a class of its own. It's trancy, it's housey, it's groovy, it's hypnotic, it's funky, it's moody, all at the same time.

I digress, however, to complain about "tribal house". Why is this distinction even necessary given the small amount of tracks that fall under it anyways? This is progressive house, and it's a waste of time to call it anything else.

After 14 years, we finally have a negative review on this track, thank you very much OochyKoochy, you just propelled this composition to greatness!!
