Something of a missed opportunity here, simply re-releasing the original 9-track album - weighing in at a brief 40:18 - and not including any bonus tracks to (a) more completely represent this moment in Dave Ball's career, and (b) bolster the run-time.

Let's face it, this is a fairly minority-interest album. It's a quirky obscurity, of interest mainly to hardcore Soft Cell or Psychic TV fans, and maybe people interested to hear the origins of The Grid. Point is, it's not an album that will be re-released every few years for the rest of eternity. It may never be re-released again. Hence "missed opportunity." If they were going to bother re-releasing it at all, they should (IMHO) have taken the opportunity to do a proper, comprehensive job of it.

Would it have hurt to include, for example, the alternative versions of In Strict Tempo, Sincerity, and Man In The Man that appeared on the "Sincerity" promo vinyl?

Original is from 1983. Info: Song "Mirror" is last (nr 9)on the CD, instead of the number 1 position on tracklist sleeve.. On Cd; nr1 'Sincerity' , nr2 'Passion Of A Primitive' , nr3 'Strict Tempo' (instead of 4th position on sleeve) .. and so on..
