On the whole, it's a nice pressing. I think the mastering could have been a bit better but it works. In reality, too much post-production polish would be detrimental and kill off the slight rawness that gave the band and album its appeal.
My one complaint though...whatever idiot oversaw the runout groove made it so that (at least on one side) the stylus runs into/onto the label if you don't run over to the turntable immediately after the side's final track. That one is a first for me.

Absolutely fantastic pressing. Chris Bellman knocked the mastering out of the park as usual and the pressing is flat and dead quiet. It's a cliche, but listening to this really was like hearing this album again for the first time. #41 --> Say Goodbye, WOW. All of Tim Reynolds subtle guitar work is really highlighted here, you'll hear so many nuances that weren't as noticeable on the CD. Well worth the money. Really hope they do 'Before These Crowded Streets' with the same quality and care. 5 stars!

This pressing sounds fantastic - it is done incredibly well. Definitely worth grabbing if you're a fan of this album at all. Huge improvement over the CD.

This pressing is very quiet and sounds pretty good to me. But when I preordered I was under the impression that it was a limited release on splatter colored vinyl. Anyone know what happened?
