My original was a Dynaflex bought in 74, and then bought a UK original which sounds so much better and clearer.
A beautiful sound.

I have a version with A2A and A1E in the runout on Side 1 and 2 respectively.

Inside the sleeve is the fan card (badly torn - looks like the owner filled it out to join the fan club).

Also inside is a photo of Bowie on a page from the Melody Maker dated 21st April 1973.

The attack on the guitar intro to Watch That Man is thrilling. The 2015 repressing is too smooth and polite, I got rid of it once I A/B'd them. Some of the 2015 pressings were fantastic (like The Man Who Sold the World), but Aladdin Sane was not one of them. Track down the original. Ronson sounds like he's wielding a chainsaw.

Aladdin Sane is probably one of the best David Bowie albums.
The original UK pressing sounds great. Definitely give it a listen.

Can't seen to find a match for the copy I have. It's a UK release, gatefold. Probably bought early 70s.

Label : Side A - CPRS 4543 / Side B - CPRS 4544
Matrix : Side A - CPRY4543-3T then A2AM (handwritten) Side B - CPRY 4544-3T THEN handwritten is A Then what looks like a 4 or a 5 followed by bJ (no spaces)

Anyone?

Having a hard time cataloging this one. The cover says LSP-4852 but then has a label placed over it that says AFL1-4852, but the record itself is labeled as LSP-4852 (CPRS-4544). The label is a gold/tan RCA label. Anyone have any info on this?
