Notes

Revised sleeve with just the MainMan logo on the rear sleeve.
The earlier sleeve has "a MAINMAN artiste' instead, see: David Bowie - David Live - this was in error as US original artwork only contained the logo, and the words were quickly removed - though the second word is still discernible on this issue.

Issued on 'neon' design RCA Victor smooth orange labels; initial copies stating dates 14th & 15th July inside fully laminated gatefold sleeve printed by Howards Printers (Slough) Ltd) and with matte paper printed inner sleeves with MainMan logo and individual cat#s APL2-0771-1 and APL2-0771-2. Price Codes GG and FF ('until Jan 1st 1975').

In the UK and US these dates were changed to 12th & 13th July on RCA reissues. Later reissues on Ryko and EMI provided different dates again.

This Live album was culled from performances [..] at the Tower Theatre, Philadelphia. It is complete and exact. No studio overdubs or re-recording of voices, instruments or audience have been added with the exception of several backing vocals due to loss of theatre mike contact.

Mixed at Electric Lady Studios, New York.

The fact that sound quality on this record is just extraordinaire makes it a must have for any Mr. Bowie fan.The musicians David put together for this tour just accent one another very well.I in fact have never seen David Bowie perform live. I have some friends that all agree that having had the chance to see His live performance was a special treat. His shows are known for very professional and spot on musician ship!

I picked up a UK copy (GG/FF (-; ) today, noticed a small error at the end of Sweet Thing, bit of a unbalanced sound (floating?) for about 30 secs. Anyone noticed it?
But.. best out of 5 I have..(RI's, Italian etc.)
