If you are only going to own one copy of this classic album then this is the one to go for. Great analog sound from a new (at the time) mix. The clarity of the vocals on this album is simply stunning. On a decent deck this is practically a religious experience. Definitely one of Bowie's best albums and without a doubt the best vinyl copy out there. The DVD versions are damn good too BTW.

I have to agree with the previous comment, the clarity and beefiness they acheived especially with drums is mind blowing. The stereo separation is way more noticiable also giving this classic album a whole new dimension, as if it's the first time you're really hearing this as it was meant to be heard. I can't recommend it enough. It surpassed any expectations I may have had.

I can strongly recommend this LP - the new remaster is like watching HD TV for the first time, lots of nice percussion details are revealed, you really feel the acoustic guitar arpeggios, and the lead vocals have new clarity. Plus, on the DVD, for the very first time we get Ken Scott's 2003 stereo remix--it's significantly different than the Ziggy we all know and love--give it a listen!
