German TWD appeared in 1980/81-definitley slightly later than 1979.

First really came out as the double LP Resurrection On 84th Street,US TAKRL insert cover issue,1976/7.Soon followed by what was then a rare 'deluxe colour cover' US issue,Thin White Duke IMP 1114 which had the extra Cher material.Over the next 2/3 years Resurrection reappeared with the printed black&white Kornyphone cover and the 'Australian Saturated'colour cover. All the same US pressings.Thin White Duke reappeared a couple of years after its 1st issue with a strangely near identical front cover to 'Slaughter In The Air' 1978 show from USA.Thin White Duke 2LP first appeared outside US as on Duke Plates 101 from Germany on red and yellow vinyl. That's where I stop and great album in its many forms-of course the very 1st Resurrection reigns slightly supreme in vinyl terms anyway!
