It's perfectly fine. It's the Labyrinth soundtrack, not an audiophile masterpiece. Never was. No need to get overly previous about a reasonably priced reissue.

Reading negative reviews, I was expecting a very bad record. I bought it before I read any reviews. The record is in fact not bad at all.

The sound quality is OK to good--mostly good. It does sound a bit digital, tho. Not too upset about the edit of "Magic Dance," myself, tho I wonder at the reasoning behind it. Still, I was never going to pay $70 and up for the original pressing, so this will do just fine.

Ok now where is the CD reissue? It's really frustrating when you wait long for an album to be remastered and reissued and then...you only get vinyl version. Same issue with Badalamenti's Twin Peaks ost. %(((

I would not even think of getting this after Threetimes comment. A edited version of Magic Dance...what the heck?! The sound quality is terrible too...no way! I will stick with my new original issue on lp and cd. Why in the world did the label put EMI America twice on the label? The first time at the top center is enough.

could not disagree more with the initial comments. very poor quality release. cut from the same digital master as the current download. much less dynamic than original CD and vinyl issues and containing a 4.13 edit of Magic Dance in place of the original 5.11 version. if price is more important to you than quality then go ahead, but this is opportunist junk.

Finally, a vinyl copy of the Labyrinth soundtrack that is affordable!
This reissue/remaster sounds wonderful and will bring back fond memories if you love Labyrinth.
