Is it an upgrade to the soundboard bootleg that has been circulating for a few years now?

Easily one of the best live Bowie recordings ever. Best part is hearing Zappa introduce Bowie in the opening rap to TCV15 - this taking place right after Adrian Belew left the Zappa tour to join Bowie's outfit.

A fantastic trip down Memory Lane. Even better than the 2017 3-LP version of STAGE. Buy both of them!

Does there seem to be any quality issues with this pressing? The whole set sounds phenomenal to me, except for about midway through side 4 (at around “Star”). A lot of static and hiss during those tunes... but it’s not apparent on any other side of the three LP set for me. Maybe I just got an unfortunate shoddy pressing?

I did manage to have all three of the correct LPs (I’ve been seeing that some folks wound up with duplicates) so at least there’s that,

My local record store in Ashford, Kent just got a new shipment of RSD stock... not entirely sure how that works, but I've had one of these put aside at £34.99... makes me doubt the original limited numbers though!!

I just opened my copy due to reading some of the reviews earlier about mis-presses and duplicate lps, and am happy to say that mine is fine. Records all sound great, no defects and the labels are all correct. This is also a fine press, as the sound mix is pretty darn good for a show that's 40 years old. LP cover is a nice tri-fold sleeve with high quality record inner sleeves. As for the music, well, this is classic BOWIE that is a must have for any fan.
