Thanks, yes there are a lot of classic DnB tunes that don't have enough credit, I am doing the occasional review from my collection as and when I have the time.

I bought this on the strength of the Technical Itch association. First track Circuit Breaker combines juddering techstep with alien sound effects and clattering percussion livening up the clockwork beat. Has a feel of later tracks like Deadline by Digital, I think thats what I am thinking off, heavy dark and dubby. You can see the clear links between early dubstep and this style of DnB.

I like the vibe, played loud the bass really pounds and a lot of thought has gone into the ambience. It also avoids the sterility of techstep, the ridgid icy flow of tracks of the Torque album etc, with real rolling groove.

Life is a more electronic spacey journey, glitchy beats and shimmering synths. Again excellent heavy bass and textures, this one if more for chilling at home to while the other side is more for freaking out to! The synths remind me a bit of Grandmaster Flash's tune The Message oddly enough.

Worth getting if you like the more dubby atmospheric side of DnB.
