I have not heard this version, but I seriously doubt anyone could remaster this 63 minute beast on 1 LP better than the original by Bob Ludwig. Either way, to fit 30 minutes a side on 1 LP any mastering engineer is going to need to sacrifice volume or bass, maybe both. Just turn it up.

I think it's time for someone to respond to this silly post. Anyone who gives this one star obviously has ulterior motives other than honestly reviewing an LP. This is not the most dynamic record I own but at the same time it's far from inferior. Yeah, you my have to crank it up a little more but so what! I have a pair of audiophile Sennheiser headphones and it sounds pretty damn good to me! I actually hesitated because of this lame review but finally took the plunge and I'm glad I did! Also, if it was that bad, where are all the copies for sale? You would think they'd be giving them away..I waited years to nab one of these. One of the reasons there are still a few unopened copies could be because it came out the same year as The Great Recession started.

another disaster made in GZ. after about 6 playbacks in this years this record seems to be worn. vinyl is poor and noisy. plus the volum is so so so low. seems they forgot the riia conversion. this label almoust use CD as a source. it's a nonsense. and those are the results. a crap vinyl that i bet is so faraway from the first print.
for shame universal, for shame.
