I don't have this Japanese EP, but it's the only release I can review Del's excellent cover of the Stones "Under My Thumb", which originally came out in the states in '66 as a 45, w "She Was Mine" as the B-side (Liberty 55904). Del gives new life into the Stones classic, doing his Jagger snotty vocals. "She Was Mine" is also an excellent tune.

'66 marked the beginning of Del's period on Liberty, where he released some of his most interesting work, namely "The Adventures of Charles Westover" LP, a concept album of sorts. He also recorded a (then) unreleased LP in England w/Andrew Loog Oldham in the same period, and cut several other interesting 45s for Liberty.
