I bought this edition just now. Today I digitized it using Ortofon Concorde Club MKII cartridge+stylus. Sure, while digitizing I heard some clicks. Then I listened the digitized one, and I was so surprised 'bout the detalized high frequencies. So this edition is really brilliant remastered !..

Anyone else have the Matrix/runout from this issue but missing the legacy logo on the label?

I wasn't so lucky, beautiful pressing but side two was full of surface noise. I noticed some pressing issue, rub wear on the vinyl. Very disappointed because the mastering is very good but the surface noise and pops ruined a great pressing.

I grew up listening to this album; first on cassette, then on CD, and finally on the 2006 remastered CD version from Mute. This is the first time I listen to 'Violator' on vinyl and it sounds perfectly, as good as I remembered it. Sounds clean, loud and clear. Sony Music (and Legacy) seems to be doing a good job with the Depeche Mode vinyl editions.

So unusually good and clear that my ears started to hurt a little bit.

Wonderful quality, this album desserved that. I put the five stars easily. Liners from Daniel Miller are cool and interesting.

for those asking about pressing quality...
just bought this and played it on my Projekt turntable, ortofon blue cartridge, denon amp, b&w speakers.
put the needle on the record it was so quiet I thought I had the amp on the wrong input. but no, music started and sounded pristine all the way through.
my only gripe is that the high frequencies sound a bit flat - but that would probably be apparent on the first pressing.

hope this helps

It would be nice to receive some feedback about this pressing's quality. Anyone?
