From depmod forum page " french cdrs from Spirit area are officials and not fakes
a french member from FV (master.inc) wrote to Sony Music France.
And answer is: "yes, they come from Sony!"

It's worth pointing out that Amazon UK have just added this to their autorip library so if you bought it from them it can now be downloaded.
They're still mostly terrible though.

After listening to all of these soulless remixes I ask myself: Where's the revolution?

It sounds like a lot of work to me and I've yet to see an enthusiastic review.

I understand sometimes with new musical sounds you have to give it a chance and listen to it a few times; then you 'get it', it can become your favourite. That has happened a few times with DM remixes. But then there is also the alternative to 'challenging music': bad music . . .

Truly horrible remixes. The first job of a remixer should be to listen to the Depeche Mode 12"s from the mid-80s.

That one is 200% fake. Sony Music never released any promo CD-R for this single in France. Don't be fooled !

WHAT WAS IT? Total waste of time and money! :/ Not the best press at all - too scratchy. Sounds like a heavy used record. Maybe it's just my copy sucks though...

I hate harshly critiquing music because I respect the art but I have to agree with the others that say these remixes are an extreme let down. They seem really lazily done. This is Depeche Mode, I would expect much more from these electronic rock giants. These tracks are kind of a bore they don't try to capture the emotive depth of the actual music and sound dry. I'll give it another listen or so but wouldn't dish out the dough for this biscuit

Ok, so having played this 12" for the past couple of days it's starting to grow on me. Whilst the A side is a bit of a let down, it gets stronger as you work your way through the mixes. its worth buying just for sides B/C/D in my opinion.
