After the wonderful Innerzone Orchestra's Programmed album, this one was even more impressive. Less of the 69 demented drums influence, but instead an expansion of bandmembers. Highest is a good example of that, it could have been right of the Programmed album. Innerzone Orchestra part 2, so to say. Just as the standard People Make The World Go 'Round on Programmed, here also the band is presenting a 70's jazzfunk mood in reviving old spirits (covers, in other words). The project is similar to Build an Ark in that sense, which came out about a year later. I wonder if this one will see a repress, now that we're in the era of represses rather than the era of new albums by Mr Craig. But if you read this, my dear label representative, please leave the album intact; don't change things like on the More Songs repress.

A2 is based on "Donald Byrd - Think Twice" (1975).

An album that´s joined the dots between house, techno, hip hop, soul and jazz to the benefit of all and the detriment of none. This is a lesson that`s worth repeating.

Just bought this and am listening to it now. Oo, the juxtaposition of raw acoustic jazz and electronic production really is a pleasure on the ears. This really reminds me of live shows by Cinematic Orchestra or Jaga Jazzist.

There Is A God holds some of the spirituality found in the next track, Church. Both have an air of choir-worthy background music.

Vernors is an interesting song in reference to the Michigan-based soft drink that generations of Detroiters have known. The song sounds quite wonderful as the drink tastes.
