Classic song from the late 80's. Surprising it wasn't a bigger hit than it was, but that's what makes it even more appealing!

WOW, I've been looking for this song for almost 3 years now. Back in the day in charleston WV the number one hip hop Dj in our town was DJ HANZ and he would play the bouns track at the end of every gig. It was so popular that no one know that it had words, or even a title. We just simply called it," The Beat". In my circle of old school Hip Hop heads and producer from Charleston this song is like the Detox Project, No one never thought that they would hear the beat again cause Hanz gave up the carft to raise his family and the only other Dj that I know Of from our town that has it died about two months ago. So I thought the beat would go down in history as the one that got away, never to be heard from again until now. Any one from charleston WV thats old enough to remember The Ace of Clubs,The Blue Diamond, the 20s,The warehouse,or Duce and a Quater in the basement of the Holly Hotel then you remember the beat. Thats my jam man
Finally I found The Beat
