I keep telling people but they dont listen Dif Juz released some seriously innovative sounds in the early eighties. The music media blip-out about the merits of Tortoise this past decade never once mentioning Dif Juz. This recording "Who Says So!" is pretty unique stuff [remember guys this is 1983 England!!!] as were the Extractions, Huremics and Vibrating air pieces! I own all the Dif Juz recordings and these sonic performances are worth digging out for those that like instrumental music that captures the imagination. And if you are a Tortoise fan you gotta realise that Dif Juz opened a crevice in sound that Tortoise were later to inhabit and crack open all around you!
Respect to Dif Juz.
