Quite possibly my all time favourite d&b tune! Everything about it is great, the jungle style build up, the horns break, the combo of the two on the drop...never fails to please a crowd, a real stand out piece of tuneage.

For me 'Fix Up' is the track on this release. While Deadline has that trademark horns break it doesn't really go anywhere and becomes repetitve - kind of stuck in a rut. Fix Up on the other hand builds masterfully and keeps building over the the first 2 minutes - nothng too complex as this is a strict roller - then it continues to ebb and flow with great vocal dread samples and becomes a hypnotic monster - Now that's what I call DNB circa 2000

This is one of the best of all time and one of the tunes that inspired me to get into DJing. I remember going to fabric and hearing it all night without knowing what it was. It was just so infectious, almost tribal in a way. Is great to mix as well!

The first time I heard this was when I was trying to get into a DnB party at some rock club in Philly. I was trying to count the change the casher was giving back to me after paying for admission when I was completely distracted by a masive 1993 darkcore track. As it turns out it wasn't a 1993 darkcore track... by the strict definition of the word at least. Instead this was a brand new track that Baily was playing on dubplate. Well I was blown away and couldn't believe that someone had the balls to make such a wicked tune in the age of mostly crap dnb. Well thank goodness that both Phantom Audio, and Total Science had those balls.

Personally my favourite Drum n Bass track of all time (and I have thought about it for some time). A paradox: so musically rich and with such dynamism and depth yet so simple, you can count the amount of samples Digital uses.

It is a melting pot of Dub, Hip Hop, Funk, DanceHall Ragga, Hardcore (Old School), Jungle, Drum n Bass.

Mixes deliciously with anything..I love it when Andy C used to mix Shake Ur Body into this one (I've ripped him off silly with that mix!)
