This is a brilliant album, and it's a damn shame there hasn't been a well-deserved, deluxe, lovingly thorough reissue of it that compiles the extra songs from the CD and the cassette. This version, the cassette version, features these four songs that aren't on its CD counterpart: 1. Hip Hop Doll, 2. Gutfest '89 (Full Length Long Version), 3. Sound of the Underground, 4. A Tribute to the Early Days. If you're a fan of Parliament Funkadelic, subsonic bass grooves, great beats, loopy lyrics and awesomely layered group rhymes that meander all over the place and finally come back to where they started, you'll need both the CD and cassette versions of this album! Then move on to "This is an EP release" and "Sons of the P"...more brilliant D.U. music.
