Yes, very interesting pressing history! I can remember being angry to get this thin sleeve euro copy from my trusted shop, as we usually tried to get those thick sleeve US pressings, for which we sometimes had to pay extra import prices, if they were offered at all, when the $ went up in the mid eighties! Bought the US version years later thinking it was the original press!

So confusing. My copy was purchased used around 1994. It is a black vinyl/red label re-press but the Homestead logo is in black, not yellow like in everyone else's photos. The spine says "Made in Canada".

Interesting facts regarding the earlier and later pressings. I have 4 - The Original (off white label), Black vinyl w red label, yellow vinyl w/ red label and red vinyl w/ red label. Indeed the original album cover is so much clearer than the later ones that followed. I would be very interested to know how many copies were made of each.
