2 NEW SONGS SINCE 1995'S "FULL SPEED AHEAD", "ACID BATH", OPENED FOR THEM ON THAT TOUR. I WISH THEY WERE STILL A BAND. BUT I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND WHY THERE NOT. THE BASS PLAYER WAS KILLED WITH HIS PARENTS BY A DRUNK DRIVER. PEOPLE THINK THAT THEY GOT SCREWED BY SPIKE OF D.R.I. WHO PRODUCED THE UNFORGETABLE ALBUM,"WHEN THE KITE STRING POPS". AT LEAST DAX RIGGS STILL TOURS(its like acid bath lyrics put to country & blues music(GENIOUS)& lets not forget the SATAN WORSHIPING(whatever works for you)"GOATWHORE")BUT BACK TO D.R.I. THEY COULD TOUR FOR THE REST OF THERE LIVES & NOT WRITE ANOTHER NEW SONG. SO I THINK GETTING 2 NEW SONGS AFTER 21 YEARS IS A PRIVELAGE. LETS NOT FORGET SPIKES BATTLE W/COLON CANCER. & KICKING ITS A$$!!!!! YOU HAVE TO HAND IT TO HIM AND KURT BRETCH FOR STICKING WITH IT FOR SO LONG & GETTING ABSOLUTELY NO CREDITM SURE YOU SEE BANDS SAY THAT THEY WERE A HUGE INFLUENCE ON THEM. BUT IF I WAS 1 OF THOSE BANDS(slayer, anthrax) I WOULD HAVE TAKEN THEM ON ATLEAST 1 BIG TOUR TO SHOW MY GRATITUDE FOR THERE INFLUENCE ON MUSIC IN GENERAL. THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE "HALL OF FAME",ATLEAST BEFORE THEY PUT MADONNA IN! THRLE COPY I RECEIVED OF THE NEW D.R.I. CAME IN THE "CLEAR BLUE VINYL",ABSOLUTELY GEORGOUS. JUST LOOKING FOR THE PICTURE DISC WICH IS HAND SILKSCREENED!!!!! IVE NEVER HEARD OF ANTONE DOING THAT BEFORE,THE BLACK VINYL COPY(i think they are playing w/everyone & they made less that 1,000 of them, but thats my opinion)& THE PURPLE "LIVE EDITION 7 INCH". ALL I CAN SAY IS GET IT IF YOU HAVENT,ITS THE GODFATHERS OF "CROSSOVER" PUNK/THRASH FOR HELL SAKE!!!!!

D.R.I. IS DEFFINATELY 1 OF THOSE BANDS THAT COULD TOUR FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES & NOT HAVE TO RECORD ANYTHING EVER AGAIN. EVERYTHING OF THERES IS TIMELESS. SO TO GET SOME NEW SONGS IS A "PRIVELAGE", SO FOR THEM TO PUT OUT ANYTHING NEW. LETS NOT FORGET ABOUT SPIKE AND HIS BATTLE W/CANCER. AND HOW HE BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF IT!!!!! WERE LUCKY THAT D.R.I. IS STILL AROUND. 1st. TIME SEEING THEM WAS FOR "THRASH ZONE" WHEN I WAS 14 IN 88? IVE BEEN HOKED EVER SINCE. IF YOU LOOK THROUGH MY FLYERS & TICKET STUBS, IVE MISSED D.R.I. IN UTAH MAYBE 3 TIMES 28 YEARS!!!!! BUT THE ALBUM BEING ONLY 10 MINUTES LONG,THERE PUNK!!!!! THERE NOT METALLICA W/10 MINUTE LONG SONGS. THERE SHORT & TO THE POINT! WHY THERE NOT IN THE R & R HALL OF FAME,OR WHY THEY NEVER ARE ASKED TO TOUR W/THE BANDS THAT WERE SOOO INFLUENCED BY D.R.I. IS BEYOND ME. PERSONALY I THINK ITS A LITTLE DISRESPECT ON THE BANDS PARTS. BUT 15 YEARS FOR ANYTHING FROM D.R.I. IS WORTH THE WAIT. NO MATTER HOW LONG OR WHAT IT IS!!!!!
