Disclosure. What happened to you? This was sick, and seeing how much it's going for now, wish I picked up more of these when they were like, £4.

I’ve put off this post for as long as possible but my conscience won’t let me go another day without writing about Disclosure. Disclosure is fucking dirty. Dirty like dubstep used to be. Dirty in a way that gives you the chills, goosebumps, and clammy hands. Dirty in a way that gets into your pores, under your fingernails, and that makes you want to move.

These two brothers from the UK do everything right, but their ability to integrate vocals into their music is unrivaled. I’ve heard a lot of artists (house especially) who try to add an element of catchiness to a track by cutting, distorting, and pasting vocals where vocals do not fit. Shit is repetitive, off-key, or just plain dumb and generic, reminiscent of a wannabe club banger. Disclosure does a marvelous job of using vocals to add an organic and wholesome element of soul to their sound.

This sound has become one of my favorites recently. Looking forward to more from these guys.
