Great record, no doubt about that, but for me this reissue sounds terribly poor, pity...

This record became fast my favourite for long time. I heard the 'Matrix' track long time ago on the Pulp Fusion comps and played it out to death. I searched so hard to find the album it came from, it was reissued, and it met all expectations when i got it.
This LP Is Dizzy yes, but lightyears away from his traditional bop-jazz sound. This draws in elements of more funky grooves. A Harlem ghetto jazz sound is the more better description for allmost all the tracks here. Many jazz greats took some different turns during their career and this was a very succesfull one for Dizzy. All tracks are winners without a doubt. I rate this highly recommended for both jazz and funk lovers.
