Never forget dancing to this, at I think a Raindance rave and being mesmerised by a girl dancing in a black catsuit ❤️

This is an excellent piece of what would have been called Rave back in the day, although i think it's out and out house. The tune itself is built around a simply vocal, and some very nice chords, the type of chords and pads that have become a staple of the old rave tune like NOMAD "i wanna give you devotion" for example. There's also some nice Amen in there for good measure.

Carl has never bettered this record and i don't think he will. It's recently been remixed by Yousef, i wondered when someone was going to remix because if i knew how to produce music, i would have done it 2-3 years ago.

As a DJ you cannot fault Carl Cox, his enthusiasm is infectious and he can still rock the terrace at space, but for a sneaky peak at how good he used to be (amazing) there are some old rave videos on YouTube from Amnesia 1992.

This 12" is one of my all time favs i love the tune: I Want You (Forever). The intro bassline is what early 90's rave musik is all about & the vocals "...I Want You, I Want You, I Want You Forever..." is one of the best that i have ever heard. The cover is great too with all of the old rave flyers on it. If you can track this 12" down do so cuz if early 90's rave musik is your thing you'l love it :o)

Forget the Coolbag mix, the Fabio & Grooverider mix is the one to go for.
It's not drum & bass...breakbeat all the way with warm, swirling synths. And a really nice piano. Lovely remix.
