Ah Djrum, my contemporary hero! It is always a surprise with each and every one of his releases, you just don't know what to expect from this guy.
He is a bit of almost every sub genre of electronic bass music: from techno, house, ambient, to DnB, Halfstep, Dubstep, Rave etc. And let's not talk about his mania of sampling iconic movie's speeches and his skills at the piano or his hear to recognize and select some singers with a good voice to feature in his tracks.
With this release I think he is with no doubt and very happy too of being hard and fast. But let's recognize that he is not doing it in that rave manner that is part of the rave culture. No, make no mistake. Is more of a cinematic-DnB sparsely take on a hard techno (fast but not excessively mental and too hard) beat with a surprising hear friendly execution.
Really again 10 out of 10 for me, really worth listening to Djrum's releases always if you wish to learn about new ways of mixing up many different styles and samples, Felix is a real master in his craft: respect!!!
