Finally this album received a vinyl release.
It is probably the best album for discovering and getting into the works of Shostakovich. You have here the famous Waltz II, which some might know from Kubrik's Eyes Wide Shut, Tahiti Trot, which is an arrangement in a league of its own and all the other Jazz Suites that are light and easy.

Shostakovich had a very diverse discography and some of his works are heavy, deep and require more attention to get into but this album accurately showcases his technical and musical skills. So if you like this album, then you might consider delving deeper into the works of Shostakovich.
