My favorite italo/synth pop album. The synths work is perfect. The melodies are great, catchy and very inspiring. The beats are basics but efficients. Side A contains the best tunes. "Feel the Drive" is maybe my favorite italo/disco/synthpop song. "Watch Out" is nearly as perfect as "feel the drive", with a more "epic" melody. The opening title, "Gee Wiz", is a nice mid-tempo typical 80s "dance ballad", with very cool synth melodies and "jupiterish" brass chords. Side B contains the interesting "crash" with its funny oriental melody (but weird and almost annoying vocals). "Doctor's Cat Melody" is a cool 80s ballad with great synth work again. The "Theme From Rodeo" is a funny closing tune.
I own the 1983 "Il Discotto" record, which is perfect on all aspects, and is surprisingly not expensive currently.
