I know I commented on the CD album. So had to comment on the vinyl, this Dom's best work by far, he thinks his best work is Industry which is great work but in IMHO it does not come close to this. This is my favourite DNB album of all time and I'll say it again I think it is the best there is. The production is amazing, the bass relentless its a powerful album which offers no rest and which gets better and better each time you listen to it. A complete masterpiece of work, you need to own this. Nothing more to say!!

Just wanted to highlight a couple of tunes off this album, its probably some of my favourite work of Dom and personally I dont think he has bettered it since.

Soundwall VIP
I bought this tune on single before the album release, its just perfect for me. Starts off with a real sinister moody synth with a bass pulse just steadily running through out.
Slow a low pass filtered amen comes in, in a nice mashed up patteren, but eventually the amen is unleashed fully and the result is total gun fingers time.
I have had the pleasure of hearing this tune out twice (once at Technicality All Nighter 2005) and it sent everyone stupid.
Its what amen rinsers are all about.

Moulin Rouge
Dom & Kemal is a bit of a genius combo really.
Dom is more than capable on his own but Kemal really adds (added) something he features on a track.
In this tune his trademark percussion and synth work is on show here.
It features a more subtle amen but this is all about the synth patterns and how the tune gets more intense until it breaks down halfway through and starts again.
I dont know why but this tune gives off the impression of being chased or somesort of hectic situation, infact hectic is the best word to describe it.

Another collabo, this time featuring Usual Suspect; Keaton.
This tune is like a pulsating headache, but in a good way if you can imagine that.
It has a long old intro with beats that just roll on and on, the snare especially is very hard hitting.
A repeated unintelligible whisper is present which is almost hyponotic and when the bass hits it just pounds away.
Totally relentess, a driving, thundering tune.

This CD is absolutely awesome! its been 2 years and i'm still listening to this thing as if its fresh. There isn't a track on this CD that i hate - mostly all are excellent pieces of d&b with the odd few that are classed as good. Mixing is flawless and cant really be done any better. One of the highlights of the the highlights in my collection because of it's originality.

All of the EP's and LP's that contain the tracks on this CD are worth getting if you're a DJ. (the LP release of this doesn't contain all of the tracks features). The tracks BANG on a dancefloor. Getting old now but they still go down a treat on any floor.

I love Dom's dark and clean style, and as the guy above said - no n00bs here please :-)

Consisting of only Dom's music, this cd is mixed almost to perfection. Track such as Dom and keatons-twisted city, are both original and skillfully produced. Doms mixing skills are very hard to match, and he takes the DnB cake with this cd. Very dark, only the more hardcore dnb fans will like this. No noobies please.

One of the best LPs i have bought in a long time, dark and energetic dnb and quality production from the darkside don.
Every plate on this a stormer. There is no failing Dom, definately a buy on sight producer.

what a CD! Not many producers can mix as well as Dom & Roland and are able to make a masterpiece with just their tunes.

Haven't bought such a good rec for quite a while now. Dark, industrial-like bullet-speeded drum and bass. Have to listen to believe. I like it when someone sticks to the basics and simply reinvemts them. This is what Dom does.
