Dom strikes again! What a fantastic dancefloor album. This is drum & bass for the headz! Dom unleashes the first LP on his DRP label and this is already a classic full of stomach churning monsters and contagious basslines!

'Mind feeders' is a techy roller with vocal snippets that sound's like it was made in the late 90's. Awesome tune which has recieved support from Ed rush & Optical.

'Mammoth Hunt' has a building intro and a tearing drop which hammers the clubbers to the floor! Pure mayhem!

'Alternate worlds' features Rob Playford and this sound's like it was made for Ridley Scott's 'Alien'. Eerie buidup followed by crashing drums & bass.

'1134' is a collab with Hive and this is a nice mixing tune with all the tech you could want. Nice head nodder.

'Tajitsu' is my fav from the album and this is a collab with the dutch dnb masters 'Noisia'! Nice mellow build up and when it drops it's world war 3 people! Pure adrenaline and then come's the spine chilling wailing sample which just freaks people out all the time! What a tune!

'Jungle beast' is classic Dom with pounding bass and amen drums. A big club hit and in my top 3 from the LP.

On the cd you get 'Ice age' which i absolutely love! Again this sound's like it should be in a sci fi movie with it's chilling synth's and 96 style drum break.

Overall this is a great lp which i have purchased on both vinyl & cd formats. You can also get the bonus 'Riddim cultcha' on mp3 which is a dark dark tune with raggae samples.

Buy on sight 10/10
