This Album does not fit properly in any genre and should not ever be reviewed as if it was just any other album that does or did. Doug Hream Blunts album "Gentle persuasion" encompasses subjects of the present, past and the future of our well being in society. The sound has extreme presence of novelty but carries in our environment like air. It's like no other, it's essential, it's food, It's Life (It will change your DNA) IT'S Doug Blunt and the musicians of Flaviani, taking back whats theirs....... and what's rightfully so!!

This one is really hard to describe, definately a very obscure EP from out of San Francisco! Definately a privat pressing.
The tracks on this EP are very different from each other....One track is very awesome, it's "Gentle Persuasion"! A very fresh Boogie/Electro Funk tune with a touch of synths-wave, hmmm I am still not sure if the description is right LOL, but defiantely a fat tune! The track "Fly Guy" is very similar and I like that one too, the other tracks are ok, but not totally my style! But as mentioned above, "Gentle Persuasion" is a Boogie burner. This record seems to be very hard to get! No Year mentioned on the Label, but it sounds like early/middle 80s!
Very collectable in any case!
