According to Dougal in an interview with Billy "Daniel" Bunter, 'Life Is Like A Dance' was the first track he ever made (Even though there are 2 earlier releases in his discography from 1992). Duduzile (the vocalist) was a girl that Dougal knew from college. His sister, Sarah, played keyboards on the release.
The release was also reviewed by Ian Lloyd in Generator magazine:
"On what looks like a new label called Salamander Records comes "Life Is Like A Dance", a pretty average Happy Hardcore Track that wouldn't be out of place as a "The Hitman & Her" P.A. The flipside boasts "Psychotic Analysis", a brilliant mixture of ruff breaks, moody euro-style synth and sub super sub bass. Deeper that Sigmund Freud hitting the ganja."
