Caverna Magica is THE track to be a friend while travelling to far away destinations. It is THE track if your plane is in starting process, just lift off from ground, especially the long, dark and powerful intro. This intro holds you in its hands, lifting you up to the sky so you can look down from the top (or through the planes window ;) ) seeing the world.

The biggest cities, the most awesome skylines, moving in slow motion, are just enough for your eyes in that moment when you listen to this track. Separated from the other people - in your own mind and imagination and powerful calmness in your soul: right now, between the headphones...
When you listen to this intro you begin to understand that you are only the watcher of something, with the permission to take a view onto the wonder of the world in front of you...

The track unfolds its power when you are travelling somewhere far far away from home - a moment: alone with your music on your headphones, discovering new grounds and people and atmosphere and and ... . It gives you the best soundtrack to the special moment you did something for the first time like being at a wonderful place somewhere.
Ambient sounds, white spaces, huge wides. Flying. Special big moments without takin some drugs before ... post rave. The rave has stopped and something other & new has overtaken - oo - Soundtrack for the lonesome traveller.

Recommendable with the music-art of Robert Leiner's 'Visions Of The Past' LP/CD, or Leiners other works as The Source Experience or just The Source.
Renaat is a lucky person that he could release such classic records in the 90s.
None could ever reach this level again because everything can be done the first time only one single time. The sound between 1988 to 1994/95 put a lot of crazy new stuff into daylight - all kinds of electronic machines mayhems

'Caverna Magica' is written by Michael Christopher Cullen. He wanted or could never do such sound-job again. It is not known yet, if he has composed Caverna Magica in temwork with Ferre Baelen. Both did doubtless a very great work for the 303 genre. Cullens is also known as DJ Judge Dred. Its not sure if 'Caverna Magica' is just a exception in the artists normal output.

'Caverna Magica' is an over the top-track. It has so much dark and wide power. Deep, deep, deep bow & respect to the artist who has created this (sounds). 'Its the scream into the infinity and after that it has never been here because it is just one pointer: to heaven, you can have here on earth in some rare special moments...' (Ian Kellert, BR)

The other tracks on this 12" are existing in the shadow of 'Caverna Magica' - with this magical intro - but would this track not on here?
The 12" would be nevertheless a nice piece of soul & high quality techno trance music we all know from R & S Records. Very much % of the R & S output was a big success because of the high production level (and the varied music styles) of the record-releases in this years.

(More than?) full points. Its a wonder that the artist could create this IMO.
(the not-so-good ratings of the record are a mystery in my eyes,
did the evaluators listened to this record really?)
