Used to own a copy of this reissue and it sounded really bad. Sterile, flat and with loads of sibilance. Most likely sourced from a CD. Will avoid 4 Men with Beards from now on. There are much better (and probably cheaper) options if you want "Dusty in Memphis" on vinyl.

Ditto....perception is everything! If I see 4mwb on jacket = no sale for you! Been burnt!

I don't know about the quality of this particular reissue, but the original album itself wasn't recorded very well. I believe the original master tapes were lost a long time ago as well (in a fire?) Just a potential minor defense of 4MWB, but I'm not sure how well this is ever going to sound. There is a more expensive reissue out there spread over two records and at 45rpm... it still isn't very dynamic and sounds flat. I also own an original pressing, and you wouldn't be that impressed... trust me.

Over time, I've come to avoid anything to do with 4 Men With Beards. About to toss this one in the Goodwill pile. It's a shame, because they target a lot of great releases.

Yeah, pretty bad, staying away from 4MWB from now on. I should have known from the terribly reproduce cover art. Thumbs down.

Heads up! This release is very poor quality. Sound is flat and recording has crackles and noise. Very disappointing.
