Smooth Groove samples parts of Cheryl Lynn's Shake It Up Tonight.

Well, time is now, it's almost 15 years I've discovered this track "Smooth Groove" on a famous French DJ D'julz mix, and already at this time this track was an highlight on his DJ mix. Thanks to Discogs I managed to find a copy of this track several years ago, and even nowadays I can't stop listening to it. All is about "Smooth Groove", maybe my personal favorite track of all time, one of the most beautifull track I've ever heard in my all life, and still now, with time, with all the evolution of House Music, it's still in my brain, in my player, in my beloved vinyl collection. But make no mistake, the Dave Seaman mix where you'll find an extract on Youtube or wherever you'll looking for doesn't worth the proper listen to the original (too much pitched up in the Dave Seaman mix extract in my opinion), this track deserve a clear listening at the normal speed (slower speed actually). Maybe the best and most powerfull bassline I've ever heard, a joyfull and emotional melody, this track could be simply 'THE' definition of Progressive House on its own, for people who can understand and have known this wonderfull era (meaning the late 90's wonderfull era, where House Music reached its maturity, where new things were already possible).
I need to thankfull Lucient Foort to created this masterpiece and create so many happyness in my brain listening to "Smooth Groove". A masterpiece, a jewel, my personal journey to wonderland, still now. An unique piece of music.
