Agreed on all accounts - Hard to say if CD 1 or CD 2 is better. CD 1 is definitely the best Cali Underground workTight beats, great melodies, hooks galore and even some great Soul vocals ..
.. so much local (Oakland) talent on CD 1, while CD 2 is a collaboration with some of the dopest rappers from LA and probably the more appealing CD - Hard to say : this is true hip Hop from the streets for the heads to enjoy and to make them think , too.

Fresh fire from the most underrated, yet most consistent rapper in the game, E-40. Some strong performances by the way from old school backup rappers like B-Legit. Special appearances from Ludacris (who brought that 2k vibe back). Definitely pick up "Corner 1" along with this one (Too Short & Lil' Boosie appear on that). They are both quite essential. Get Revenue Retrievin', The Block Brochure, and the Ball St. Journal while your at it for some real West Coast Cali vibe music.
