Double disc problem? Not here. The second disc has to offer more hits while the first one is more consistent. Laced with 2 tight Ant Banks produced singles and introducing the dre'ish - skilled Portland producer Bosko to a large audience, you can't go wrong with E-40's 5th album. The CD is full of nice features indicating E-40's respect all over the west coast, but unfortunately, it doesn't spawn the rumoured 2Pac-Feature. Bosko replaces Studio Ton as major producer, however, he can maintain his influence with 4 decent productions. The album ends with the dated Mailman-Leftover "Ballin' Outta Control" and the overproduced Sam Bostic jam "One More Gen" which would have fitted better on a B-Side of a single. "Dirty Deeds" would have been the perfect track to end the album, however, this should not keep you from enjoying all the tight songs to discover on this classic E-40. Yeeh!
