IF you want to hear what this release would like to be, then I would recommend the release: Asura-Life

I agree with the user below: this album lacks creativity. In more than one aspect. One is that (like he/she said) it's no more than just goa-trance at a slow pace. The other is that the tracks are way too repetitive, as they have the same sound samples and effects, with almost no variations, and are also very similar to each other in rhythm and bass line, making the album too repetitive and boring. Though the album lacks any great moments, of the nine tracks featured, there are three (only) that I do like (and one of them is not pure E-Mantra): the title-track "Visions from the Past", "Menhir 2010" and the Reasonandu remix of "Emptiness" (the original E-Mantra mix is also nice, and can be found in the V.A. album "Ether", compiled by Dj Zen: https://www.discogs.com/Various-Ether/release/2566185 ), all of these are among the slower tracks - personally, I don't like any of the "faster" tracks of this album. All in all, this is definitely not a good E-Mantra album... I got it borrowed once and returned it a couple of days after. If you're looking for a good E-Mantra downtempo album, try "The Hermit's Sanctuary".

This disc lacks imagination, E-Mantra should have spent more time on the rhythm and bass programming. You don't make downtempo music by playing goa trance at half the speed.
