Kill For You proves that even the late EMF could get things together: The band has always had lightweight songwriting, but if they packed their tunes with the right chords and a good amount of energy, then the results could be very satisfying.
Kill For You is self-produced by the band as none of the other tunes on this 4-tracker and profits greatly from not wanting to sound sophisticated at all. It is raw, driving, slightly disharmonic indie rock.
The other tunes on this one: Perfect Day was the obvious single choice from the album Cha Cha Cha, a slice of chaotic dance rock with flute. Angel is a melodious power ballad, and I Won't Give In To You is a little darker type of the same, both of them not bad but mediocre, though I like the female vocal sample in the latter quite much.
