i was in high school when i discovered hip hop in 86/87. four albums stand in my mind clearly: "paid in full"~Eric b n Rakim, "criminal minded"~boogie down productions, "rhyme pays" Ice~t, and... EPMD "strictly business". this album dropped so hard back in the day. i don't think it left the tape deck in the car for months. both guys are smooth and they have a great chemistry together. the record is danceable and FUN thanks to the great DJ and the choice of sampling. the ladies love this album! the real honor for this record is that my fourteen year old and my ten-year-younger wife both came downstairs and said "wow" when they heard it. no artist could ask for more. this album should never be forgotten, and no self respecting hip~hop collector can be without it. aloha
