I remember showing RENE the factory 7" in 1986 for the 1st time and she was shocked as no one in the family knew it existed. Apparently released by Ed bahlman without esg's knowledge. Basically they were not told or paid for the 7" release.
GRIMEY!!! If you buy the 7" for UFO, you can't slow it down. It's 33rpm and unless you have the obsolete 16rpm playing option on your close & play turntable it can't be slowed down.

I'm not in front of my (original) copy right now, but I could swear that the spine says both 99 Records and Factory Records - i.e. it's a split release. These Discogs entries make it seem like the 12" was on 99 and the 7" was on Factory, mutually exclusive to each other. Not so.

Edit: I now have it in front of me. It is definitely a split release 12". The spine says

This is probably the best EP of all time. Growing up in Brooklyn/Bed-Stuy in the 80's, UFO was one of the TOP 5 Uptown beats (i.e. hip-hop) of all time (slowed to 33rpm). We rocked Earn It also. As I got into house music a little later, I found out that Moody was a garage/house classic. So no matter what you're into, this EP has a classic for ya!
