my pressing of this 12" is way over modulated about halfway into "Cut & Run" - just bought another copy to see if it's the same. hope it's not - one of the best breaks tracks of '91 right here!

there was some really fat fat tunes on this label as well as some turkeys. Early stuff is WICKED !! if you want to dig into early bass and bleep stuff get Dzone , shame the label got dragged down by distributors, they would still be around I am sure. One of my fav labels from the day. Shame also some pressings where a little ruff and coloured vinyls not good :(

Wicked record!! It has it all and pure quality too.. A collision of old styles here.. from old hardcore to the sheffield bleep sound.. The 'cut and run' track with its 'ardcore mash up of samples 'that' bass and proper infectious break running through it.. Its a real groover.
The B side is a MUST for anyone who ever enjoyed the early releases of LFO, Tricky Disco and especially Nightmares on wax.. maybe thats what inspired them to name it 'nightmare' . Backwards metallic riffs , deeep fat bass.. ruftee.. Easymo.
