Can't believe this is more than 20 years old and still sounding so refreshing...

The overall thoughtful atmosphere, the use of acid lines through the album and eastern pads and synths, together with high-level of composition makes this album one creative / captivating I've ever heard.

A delightful journey through UK(esp. Warp AI series) & Japanese inspired home listening techno-ambient. 'Ten' brings an organic touch to the technology lead music with a unique style in its sound. A sense of thoughtfulness enlightens the soul as the album flows with a deep spiritual zen atmosphere that truly transcends the listener into a thoughtful mindstate. Yokota's creative composition and ability merging both moody and playfulness while incorporating tranquil eastern philosophies into modern minimal techno music can truly be felt here as each track leads you into a captivating listen where techno-ambient influences from both east & west mix perfectly. Tracks 5 and 6 lean towards a more ambient side delivering a wonderful calmness with its beatless approach added with subtle flutters of filters & textures that whisper with gentle eastern sounds bringing a very tranquil feeling when listening. This truly is a highly absorbing, thoughtful, and a different side of techno-ambient music that's quiet original in its sound, and where the artist heart & soul can be felt in the music...Excellent.
